The first major Passivhaus buildings in Cambridge, this new student accommodation delivers 59 new graduate rooms for King's College, Cambridge. It comprises of two distinct, new buildings - a 'Garden Building' and a 'Villa Building'. The gardens have been substantially re-landscaped to unify the site as a 'graduate campus' delivering on the College's aim to enhance student experience/wellbeing and increase participation in college life.

This film was created as part of an award submission and also to be hosted on the client's and Allies and Morrison's websites. A script was written up and a storyboard produced that would take the viewers on a journey of the campus, whilst keeping them informed of the sustainable building methods and passivhaus features. I worked closely with an architectural photographer in obtaining the footage and arranged for the script to be recorded in a studio. I collated all of the elements and arranged them as per the storyboard, resulting in a clear and informative film about the campus.

Project:
Clandon Park
The National Trust's International Design Competition for Clandon Park set out to establish a future approach for this early Palladian house near Guildford. Designed by the Venetian architect Giacomo Leoni, the Grade I-Listed building was one of Britain's finest examples of Palladian architecture. Following a devastating fire in 2015, however, little more than the brick shell of the eighteenth-century building remained intact. Our competition-winning design proposes to restore significant parts of the house but also to give it a new life through a transformed visitor experience.

This film formed part of the competition entry and includes animated journeys through the site and building and visualisations of the proposal.
