The Oriana Project
This exhibition showcased the design and concept of a boarding school in Nanyuki, Kenya.
The Oriana Project is a charity seeking to bring new opportunities to physically disabled, orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya. A team of architects, engineers, illustrators and graphic designers offered their services for free to work on this unique project.
I was responsible for designing the layout of the exhibition and curating the content, ensuring the journey through the exhibit mimicked the journey through the site. The scheme utilises natural building materials and as such I opted for natural, untreated wood for the display panels and recycled card for printing. Also included were large format banner prints, flat-bed printed surfaces and booklets, cut vinyl graphics and a toy-like model with moveable pieces.
